Zermatt - a Resort at the Foot of Matterhorn

In the south of Switzerland there is a popular mountain resort - Zermatt. The town lies at the foot of a famous mountain - Matterhorn that stands out against all other peaks and mountain ranges.

Zermatt is located in the valley surrounded by mountain slopes with rural landscapes.

The resort occupies both sides of Vispa river.

Petrin Hill in Prague

In the centre of the Czech capital, Prague, not far from Prague Castle, is located Petrin Hill that towers above the Vltava River.

One may use a funicular to get to the top of the hill.

Or, as one climbs up the hill, one may admire views of Prague.

Many rocks are on the slopes of the hill. Some of them have mystic marks engraved. Think of the Celts who once lived here.

There's some architecture among the greenery of Petrin Hill.

But the "crown" of the hill is a "mini Eiffel Tower". It's a lookout tower, and it gives opportunity to see Prague from above.
